  The Cahaya Abadi (Endless Sun), a private relief boat delivering aid to Aceh and Nias has sunk off the coast of Nias on April 11 at 14.00 local time...

On Monday, 11.09 pm local time another huge earthquake (8.7 magnitude) hit just west of Aceh. People on the ground said that “this quake felt stronger than the one on Dec. 26th, In one minute, everything was destroyed, people didn’t even have a chance to run”.

In this issue, IDEP salutes Taufik Sinaga and his efforts in providing humanitarian support to the people of Aceh with our deepest condolences. IDEP also corresponds with Robin Lim about recent developments of the Bumi Sehat Mid-Wifery Initiative in Samatiga, Aceh and uncovers the mystery behind the "Man with the Teddy Bear".
