‘Tales of Disasters’ children’s DRR films DVD
Five education videos that use ‘Muppets’ to introduce the key aspects of community disaster response, produced through a collaboration between IDEP and No Strings, with support from Trocaire.
Film titles included are: Flood & Landslide, Earthquake, Tsunami, Volcano, Two Gardens (about peace building).
Also includes IDEP’s CBDM Manual and comic book series. Each film is included in Indonesian, English, Acehnese and Tetun.

a handbook for communities
This booklet is an easy-to-follow emergency first aid guide. The booklet explain the correct procedures for checking injured people’s condition (adults and infants), how to safely move injured people using materials commonly found in local community areas, how to dress wounds, bind injuries, stop bleeding, basic first response treatment for burns and electrical shock as well as a practical self-help post traumatic stress disorder treatment guidelines.
