Virtual Translators and Editors

Location and Placement: In your own home or office
Length of Contract: Ongoing

Overview: The Virtual Volunteer may be charged with a variety of duties, depending upon their experience and specific skills set. We have openings for translation volunteers specializing in translations from Indonesian to English or from English to Indonesian. We also have opportunities for Virtual Editors for either straight Indonesian or English language.

Skills requirement :

• Computer skills (email, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
• Previous Editing Experience in either Indonesian or English language (for the virtual editors)
• Previous translation experience from Indonesian to English or from English to Indonesian (for virtual translators)
• Commitment to the environment, community based development and the principles as outlined in IDEP's mission and vision

Video Animation Volunteer

Location and Placement: in Batuan Sukawati, Gianyar
Length of contract : on going

Qualification:

• Commitment to IDEP’s mission and vision and ability to translate these into strategic and operational plans
• Ability to perform under limited direction, self motivated, and organized
• Significant experience and understanding of working in a cross-cultural environment
• A high level of proficiency in using standard computer applications [email, Word, Excel, Power Point] and audio visual media software [Final Cut Pro, Motion, etc]
• Ability to perform responsibilities in both the office and outreach environment
• Able to make 2D and 3D video animation
  
• Willing to deliver training to IDEP's Media internal team to make 2D and 3D video animation.
