In early 2005 the GreenHand team rented an abandoned house at the edge of the village of Lamsujen , and began an extensive renovation job.

Thanks to support from several skilled carpenters and handymen from the area and from within the project's team debris was cleared out, the roof was fixed, several bedrooms and bathrooms and a porch added.
