The GreenHand team learned several techniques for converting unsupportive soils into fertile garden beds and techniques for planting and caring for seedlings, using natural fertilizers, insect control and other Permaculture gardening techniques.

Already deeply committed to the environment, these young Acehnese are in the process of becoming trainers who ill be able to share their skills developed hands-on at the center.
