Steve and the GreenHand team consulted with the Lamsujen Community to socialize the project and negotiate agreements for use of local land. The villagers were intrigued by the concept of the field school and even the women wanted to get involved.

The community has welcomed the project and villagers have already received trainings as part of 12-day Village Development Courses and other direct training opportunities. Local village women have also been employed by the project as cooks and cleaners.
