| About VIBE Foundation |
|
VIBE (Volunteers and Interns for Balinese Education) Foundation is dedicated to providing educational opportunities for Indonesian children and adults. For several years VIBE has offered a wide range of educational services to rural villages in Bali. They also offer volunteer and internship opportunities in Bali for people from all over the world.
VIBE manages its programs from a shared space at the Yayasan IDEP Foundation Headquarters in downtown Ubud.

| Volunteers and Internships |

| VIBE has an independent volunteer and internship program which runs under the legal auspices of Yayasan IDEP Foundation. The program provides training and placement for volunteers in various local NGO programs including environmental education programs, curriculum design, public health, and program development / management work.
International volunteers teach English, art, and life skills to Indonesian children and adults in the areas where we work. VIBE works in cooperation with local communities; and local leaders. Educational figures and families are closely involved with the planning and development of VIBE programs.

| Volunteer TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) |

|
| VIBE recruits, trains, and places skilled and experienced volunteer English teachers in various villages around Bali. VIBE Volunteers live with Balinese families for a culturally integrated exchange and to develop their Indonesian language skills.
Volunteers offer classes to the community and teach classes of 15-25 students who range from age 8 to High School age. This provides public schools with qualified English teachers, as most public school teachers are teaching a language that they themselves cannot speak!
VIBE is part of an expanding network of organizations in Bali, all committed to improving education and furthering the rights of women and children in Indonesia
