Yayasan IDEP believes that there is a critical need for education of Indonesia’s youth in the fields of eco-literacy and practical problem solving skills, so that they will be more able to address these issues in the future. To meet this need, IDEP has developed an outline for a widely applicable curriculum for eventual national application. The education outline IDEP currently focuses on include topics on environmental sustainability, conservation of natural resources, organic farming, waste management and disaster management. With an extensive selection of fun and enriching media items produced especially for kids, IDEP intends to continually reach out to Bali’s local green leaders of the future.
