Wastewater Gardens® community
projects green and beautify communities while
recycling wastewater and reducing water consumption.
They use natural, ecological mechanisms and
a minimum of machinery and electricity to
solve problems with sewage causing bad health
and environmental damage.
The systems increase community
awareness and ownership of wastewater treatment
processes. They stimulate general cleanup
of communities, enhanced self-image, and catalyzed
awareness within the community of the need
to conserve water.
